Boating. Take advantage of Mille Lacs Lake by going out on the water! We have a canoe, paddleboat, and available. If you’re looking for more, there are a couple nearby places that offer boat rentals! With more than 300 miles of premier ATV trails between two counties, all connected and ranging in difficulty, the Mille Lacs area will allow you and your ATVs to have the time of your lives. The Soo Line South crosses 22 miles through Mille Lacs County, running just south of the Rum River State Forest, Mille Lacs Kathio State Park, Mille Lacs Lake and Father Hennepin State Park.
The Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails are only 22 miles west of Garrison. These trails are open to mountain biking (standard or fat tires) as well as trail jogging and hiking during the summer months. Find more information for cycling on Mille Lacs here.
Stay on the beach! The shallow beach is the perfect place to soak up the sun and relax. With more space to spread out and plenty of shallow water to wade in, you can easily spend a whole day lounging on the beach with your family and pets.
